Senior QA Automation Developer (10+ years) to enhance QA automation using Playwright, CI/CD integration, and Databricks data testing- 105257-1
Join a Global Asset Management Technology team building a new QA automation function supporting institutional execution platforms and data engineering workflows. This role focuses on UI automation, API testing, data reconciliation, and automation of existing manual testing processes across web applications and backend systems. The position offers exposure to both existing and new applications within a large-scale transformation initiative. Potential opportunity to lead an offshore QA automation team.
Location:
Toronto/Hybrid - Thursdays, 4th Friday of the month
Duration: 6 Months (Chance of Extension)
Hours:
37.5 Hours Per Week
- 10+ years in QA automation, test automation, and large-scale project delivery
- CI/CD integration, API testing, data reconciliation, and data testing
- Manual testing and conversion of manual test cases into automation
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field
- Playwright automation using JavaScript, Type Script, and Python
- Global Asset Management, Wealth, or Capital Markets experience
- Lead offshore QA automation team experience
- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright for web applications
- Create and execute automated tests for Databricks data engineering workflows, including notebooks, ETL pipelines, and data reconciliation
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to define quality standards and resolve defects
- Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable insights
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for frontend and backend components
- Support traditional manual testing efforts as required
