About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and Dev Ops teams to ensure high‑quality delivery of modern web, API, and enterprise‑grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong automation framework development skills using Java and Python, hands‑on experience with Selenium, and solid expertise in API test automation, with a quality‑first mindset and a strong understanding of CI/CD‑driven testing practices.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office)

Position Responsibilities:

• Understand project documents, business demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Set up, maintain, and perform on test automation frameworks.
• Work on end‑to‑end automation and create frameworks from scratch where required.
• Collaborate with deployment teams, resolve level issues for systems, coordinate on product design, and provide inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
• Set up, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as desktop and web, and build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Conduct end‑to‑end testing, including testing of interfaces and APIs, and report results.
• Report, test, and close defects.
• Document procedures, standards, tech stack, test architecture, framework, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software testing experience within a software development project team.
• 3+ years of test automation experience with Selenium / Webdriver.io / REST Assured / Postman or similar tools.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile automation testing using Appium.
• Strong experience working on end‑to‑end automation and building frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with automation frameworks like Cucumber, BDD/TDD, TestNG, and test case development skills and QA methodologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and defect‑management tools.
• Experience with different types of testing (manual, front‑end, web testing, UI, regression, functional, SIT, UAT).
• Strong communication skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,000 CAD/year
