Full Stack Java Developer

Location: Toronto(Hybrid 4 Days onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, React, AWS, and modern cloud-native technologies to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise trading and portfolio management applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on scalable, mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced Capital Markets environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java and React.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, operations teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and modern microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Design solutions that improve scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Build and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Write optimized SQL queries for data processing and reporting.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Provide knowledge transfer through technical walkthroughs and documentation.

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• React
• Node.js
• SQL
• Terraform
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud services including:
• Amazon S3
• EC2
• EKS
• Redshift
• Cloud Watch
• Step Functions
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
• Knowledge of Trading or Portfolio Management platforms and workflows.
