Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Backend Developer – AWS CDK for a long-term opportunity at Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid 2
-3 days onsite/week).

Backend Developer – AWS CDK

Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 Days in Office/week)

Long-Term Open-Ended Contract

• Hands-on experience with AWS services:
  Lambda (core development), S3 (file handling), RDS/PostgreSQL (including JSONB usage), API Gateway
• Experience with REST API design and integration
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with AWS CDK / infra setup
• Experience working with Angular (UI integration, tables, forms)

• Familiarity with Liquibase or database migration tools
• Understanding of event‑driven architecture / async processing
• Experience in code migration/refactoring across projects
