Position: QA Lead for Event-Driven Systems
Take the lead in quality assurance as a QA Lead specializing in event-driven systems in Toronto. Leverage your Java skills and automation expertise to enhance testing strategies across frameworks.

In this role, you will oversee the quality engineering processes while focusing on Kafka-based architectures. The ideal candidate will prove their skills in automation-first testing and ensure robust API validations. Collaborate with various teams to implement effective end-to-end testing strategies in hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop automation frameworks for Kafka event-driven systems

• Drive testing for data pipelines and microservices validation

• Implement UI automation testing using Selenium

• Collaborate on engineering standards through code reviews

• Address production issues with root cause analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant experience

• Several years in Software Testing/Quality Engineering

• Experience with testing distributed asynchronous workflows

• Strong Java programming skills

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
