Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise applications for Scotiabank. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks across web applications, APIs, and system integrations while working within Agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

5+ Years strong experience leading QA teams with expertise in defining test strategy, planning, and executing end-to-end quality assurance activities.
Hands‑on experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web, API, and integration testing using industry-standard automation tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, defect management, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to mentor QA team members and drive quality engineering best practises.
Experience with Murex or other Capital Markets platforms is considered a strong asset but is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in banking or financial services environments.
Exposure to cloud‑based testing environments and modern Dev Ops practices.
Familiarity with performance and integration testing tools.
