Become a pivotal member of Snowflake as a Technical Lead Manager, crafting innovative backend services for user-facing applications. This role involves managing platform infrastructure and building AI tools to enhance user experiences.
The Apps & Experiences Platform team seeks a Technical Lead Manager with a focus on high availability, maintainability, and scalability. You'll guide a strong team in driving projects from concept to successful deployment, ensuring technical excellence in architecture and implementation. Your leadership will mentor engineers while collaborating with Product Management to create clear technical roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own technical strategy and project execution for the storage team
• Participate in design reviews and architecture discussions
• Mentor engineers on technical challenges and career growth
• Define team plans and ensure platform performance and reliability
• Improve engineering processes and tooling for efficiency
Requirements:
• 9+ years in designing large-scale systems
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred
• 2+ years managing teams in high-throughput environments
