Cloud Engineering Developer

Become a part of Scotiabank's Dev Ops team as a Developer in Cloud Engineering. This contract role focuses on building automated solutions and optimizing CI/CD processes.

In this full-time contract position, you'll work closely with software developers in Toronto, providing impactful cloud solutions. Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code and Continuous Integration tools will be vital in developing enterprise-scale environments for software delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop CI/CD solutions in collaboration with software teams

• Automate large-scale deployments using Infrastructure as Code

• Optimize Continuous Deployment tooling on public cloud platforms

• Mentor colleagues on agile practices and software craftsmanship

• Innovate solutions for regulatory requirements in digital banking

Requirements:

• Experience with Terraform or Open Tofu for IAC deployments

• Familiarity with Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS

• Proficiency in continuous integration tools and software development lifecycle

• Strong skills in Kubernetes and cloud networking

• Ability to provide level 3 support and manage version control
