Position: Hands-On Software QA Co-op at Micromart
Join Micromart as a hands-on Software QA Co-op, focused on writing automated tests and ensuring top-notch quality. This role demands coding skills in Type Script and hands-on engagement with our testing tools.

As a QA co-op at Micromart, you will work closely with our QA lead to enhance test coverage across our autonomous retail platform. Your key tasks include writing Cypress tests, diagnosing operator issues, and collaborating on backlogs. You’ll enhance our testing environments while receiving mentorship for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain Cypress end-to-end and UI tests

• Close coverage gaps across critical modules and organize test suites

• Add unit tests for backend services in Node/Type Script

• Reproduce and diagnose operator-reported issues

• Document and prioritize bug reports for engineering fixes

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in computer science or related field

• Solid understanding of Type Script/Java Script

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git

• Detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
