Senior Mainframe Application Developer

Join our Toronto team as a Senior Mainframe Application Developer with strong skills in COBOL, DB2, and z/OS. This hybrid role offers a platform for your 8-10 years of experience.

In this role, you'll be pivotal in translating business objectives into technical solutions. Conduct performance analysis and optimize usage patterns while maintaining communication with key stakeholders. Your expertise in mainframe architecture will be essential for coding, testing, and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze operational results to enhance system performance

• Maintain technical reports for service management

• Document requirements for data and workflow processes

• Coordinate solution coding, testing, and implementation

• Serve as a subject matter expert influencing dependent projects

Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on mainframe experience

• Knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, and IMS DB/DC

• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git Hub, and SOAP UI

• Experience in Mainframe application support

• Exposure to CA7 or BMC Control-M scheduling
