In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative Studio team at Mapbox, working on our flagship map design application. You'll use your front-end expertise in React and Typescript to craft high-performing solutions. Additionally, your input on design critiques and decision-making will directly impact the user experience for both developers and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of Mapbox Studio’s complex React app
• Facilitate technical decisions for scalable mapping solutions
• Design tools to help designers create maps with ease
• Address and clarify complex technical challenges
• Maintain high standards of code quality and testing protocols
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in backend development and CI/CD
• Expertise in modern frontend architecture and design
• Strong understanding of AI integration in workflows
• Skill in performance management and monitoring systems
• Familiarity with testing tools like Jest or Playwright
