What Does a Camunda 7 Developer Do?
A Camunda 7 developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining business process automation solutions using the Camunda platform. Their primary role involved creating and managing process models using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) for workflow automation and DMN (Decision Model and Notation) for decision automation. They integrate these models into the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that workflows can interact with other systems, microservices, and external APIs.
Camunda Developers work closely with business analysts to translate requirements into executable process models, handle error and exception flows, and optimize performance through tuning, monitoring, and refactoring. In Dev Ops environments, they help integrate Camunda into CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments across environments, and use monitoring tools (like Camunda Cockpit) to track process health and continuously improve automation.

- Install, configure, deploy, and manage Camunda 7 in production environments

- Document solution designs, implementation details, and operational procedures
- 5+ years of experience with Camunda BPM and business process development
- Expert-level Java/J2EE development (Spring, Hibernate, REST, multithreading)

- Strong background in SQL and database performance tuning
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and system integration
