Stafingo is Hiring | Senior Full Stack Developer – Public Sector | GTA

Stafingo is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for a public sector client in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This is a contract opportunity supporting the modernization and expansion of Virtual Care Products
, with a strong focus on video platform integration, clinical workflows, healthcare interoperability, identity workflows, and modernization of legacy functionality.

Location: GTA – Hybrid, onsite as required

Start Date: August 31, 2026

End Date: April 23, 2027

Extension: Possible at client discretion

Compensation: $80–$90/hr T4 | $97–$105/hr INC (depending on skills and experience)

Role Overview :

The successful candidate will join a public sector healthcare technology environment and contribute to the design, development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and production support of secure and scalable virtual care solutions.

The role requires deep hands‑on expertise across ReactJS, Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, Pexip APIs, Zoom APIs, HL7v2, FHIR, and enterprise IAM/NetIQ workflows
.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop complex ReactJS frontend applications supporting virtual care workflows.
  • Build and maintain Java/JDBC/Spring Boot backend services, APIs, business logic, and database integrations.
  • Integrate Zoom APIs and Pexip APIs into provider, patient, and administrative workflows.
  • Develop virtual care capabilities including virtual waiting rooms, breakout workflows, session routing, meeting initiation, participant management, provider handoffs, and multi‑party clinical encounters
    .
  • Design and troubleshoot HL7v2 and FHIR integrations supporting scheduling, encounter, patient, provider, and virtual visit workflows.
  • Integrate applications with enterprise identity and access management platforms, including NetIQ workflows
    .
  • Support modernization and replacement of legacy TSM‑related functionality.
  • Develop REST APIs, data access layers, integration services, message‑processing components, and operational support capabilities.
  • Support AWS Open Search integration for search, logging, analytics, troubleshooting, and operational monitoring where required.
  • Collaborate with architects, security/privacy teams, integration teams, product owners, UX, QA, and operations.
  • Support unit, integration, interface, regression, and release testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in defect resolution and release support.
  • Produce technical designs, API specifications, interface documentation, data mappings, configuration/deployment documentation, and knowledge‑transfer materials.

Mandatory Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of hands‑on ReactJS development building complex production‑grade applications.
  • 10+ years of Java, JDBC, and Spring Boot development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on Pexip API and Zoom API integration experience.
  • Strong HL7v2 and FHIR integration experience.
  • Healthcare/clinical workflow and scheduling integration experience.
  • Experience integrating React applications with Java/Spring Boot microservices and external APIs.
  • Experience with NetIQ workflows, IAM, identity‑enabled application workflows, or enterprise access‑management integrations
    .
  • Strong understanding of secure application development, authentication, authorization, audit logging, privacy, and role/context‑based access.
  • Strong SQL, database modelling, JDBC, and backend integration experience.
  • Public sector experience is mandatory.
