Join a collaborative team where you will design and deliver technical solutions that solve business problems and support key applications across the organization. In this role, you will lead projects, provide application support and maintenance, and work closely with Project Managers, Developers, Analysts, Testers, and business partners to deliver reliable, high-quality results.
You will contribute across the full solution lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to manage priorities independently, and a focus on system reliability, client service, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do- Lead large projects or multiple smaller initiatives by developing work plans, setting milestones, and identifying required resources.
- Support application maintenance, upgrades, releases, and implementations across multi-platform environments.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status updates, and help ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide production support for Guidewire digital applications and integrations.
- Analyze, design, build, test, debug, document, and maintain technical solutions and processes.
- Work with business users to define requirements and translate functional needs into technical designs and future-state processes.
- Contribute to business cases and support application strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with teams on system and database performance, issue resolution, and operational success.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, reports, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and availability.
- Provide responsive client support, including participation in a 24-hour on-call support model.
You are a technically strong and service-focused professional who can work both collaboratively and independently. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, solving complex problems, and supporting business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.
You bring strong web development skills, including proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Java/JavaEE, Git, JSON, and XML. You have solid experience working with frameworks such as React, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Guidewire Jutro, Guidewire InSuite Application, and Guidewire Integration (an asset), and are comfortable with databases and SQL. You are also familiar with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins, as well as cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
Additionally, you have experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to user experience, logging, error handling, accessibility, OAuth2, and RESTful APIs.
University completion at undergraduate level with a specialty focus in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
ExperienceSix years prior experience in software development.
