As a Technical Lead, you will drive the evolution of cloud-native solutions, bridging business requirements and technical execution. This role focuses on high-level strategy and deep-dive technical ownership of scalable, high-performance systems. You will lead an engineering team through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of robust microservices and serverless architectures. This position centers on architectural ownership, technical excellence, and the integration of generative AI workflows into enterprise-grade applications.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Design and oversee the implementation of robust microservices and serverless architectures on cloud platforms.
• Maintain a strong technical presence by writing clean, production-grade code and conducting rigorous code reviews.

• Implement generative AI workflows, including LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering.
• Take full ownership of the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality, on-time project delivery.
• Communicate technical roadmaps to stakeholders and resolve complex architectural bottlenecks.
• Visit the Toronto office 1-2x a month for meetings.

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Expert-level proficiency in backend development using Node.js.
• Deep, hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EC2.
• Proven track record in designing and deploying scalable microservices and serverless architectures.
• Strong proficiency with MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with generative AI tool chains, including LLMs, Lang Chain, and RAG architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities and take ultimate responsibility for project success.
