Overview

Our client, a large enterprise retail organization, is seeking 2 Sr Software Engineers to support the build-out of an internal AI Agent Platform. The platform enables the creation, validation, deployment, and operation of AI agents across no-code and developer experiences. The proof of concept is complete and the team is now moving into active development, looking for strong Python engineers who can move quickly and contribute immediately.

This is a fast-paced, in-office environment supporting a small, high-output team of developers reporting directly into the Director of Data Platforms and Engineering.

Responsibilities

Develop SDKs, APIs, and agent orchestration frameworks using Lang Graph

Build scalable platform services leveraging GKE, Postgres, Redis, Qdrant, and cloud-native architectures

Contribute to model integrations (LiteLLM) and knowledge/memory capabilities

Support agent evaluation frameworks, testing pipelines, observability, security guardrails, governance controls, and production readiness assessments

Collaborate across product, AI, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade agentic solutions with high reliability and scalability

Must Haves

5-8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, strong Python

Hands-on experience with Lang Graph or similar agent orchestration frameworks (required)

Experience building scalable platform services using GKE, Postgres, Redis, and Qdrant

Strong cloud-native architecture experience

Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, build-from-scratch environment

Nice to Haves

Experience with LiteLLM or similar model integration frameworks

GCP experience specifically (AWS/GCP agnostic, GCP is a plus)

Experience with agent evaluation frameworks, observability, and governance controls in AI/ML platforms
