Intermediate GenAI Engineer - 12 month contract

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional Software Engineering experience

• Minimum 1–2 years building production Generative AI or LLM-based applications

• Expert-level Python programming skills

• Strong experience with AsyncIO and asynchronous application development

• Hands-on experience building REST APIs using FastAPI

• Experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures

• Strong understanding of vector embeddings, semantic search and prompt engineering

• Experience working with PostgreSQL and pgvector

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience

• Docker containerization

• Kubernetes (GKE) deployment experience

• Strong understanding of Git, testing frameworks and software engineering best practices

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
