Role Description

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform

• Build scalable, record-centric applications using Appian best practices

• Develop SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and integrations

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions

• Lead design discussions and perform code reviews

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability

• Support deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and Dev Ops teams

• Support UAT, production issues, and continuous improvement initiatives

Managerial Skills (Nice to Have)

• Ability to lead small development teams and own delivery of assigned modules

• Mentor and coach junior developers on Appian best practices and design standards

• Conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Dev Ops teams

• Track progress, identify risks, and proactively raise issue escalations

• Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance, and Appian development standards

• Support release planning, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization

• Provide input on resourcing, technical dependencies, and solution feasibility
