The QE Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance. The role requires strong automation expertise, database validation skills, CI/CD knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities
• Develop automation solutions using Robot Framework and Python
• Perform data validation using SQL queries and database testing techniques
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions
• Manage test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using qTest and JIRA
• Create and maintain test documentation in Confluence
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure quality standards
• Identify, track, and resolve defects through the testing lifecycle
• Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Git Hub Copilot to improve testing efficiency and productivity

• Strong Quality Engineering and Automation Testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
• Strong Python scripting skills
• Experience writing medium to complex SQL queries for data validation
• Experience with Git Hub Actions and CI/CD processes
• Hands-on experience with qTest, JIRA, and Confluence
• Strong understanding of QE best practices and testing methodologies
• Experience with defect management and test reporting
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and communicati on skills
• Exposure to Git Hub Copilot or AI-assisted development/testing tools

• Banking or Audit domain experience
• ISTQB certification
• Experience working in regulated environments
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
• Exposure to API and integration testing

Salary Range - CA $ 90,000 - CA $ 110,000 Per Year
