Become a Senior Android Engineer at Maps People and craft high-impact mobile SDKs pivotal to indoor navigation. Drive technical leadership and mentorship within your team.

Maps People is looking for a seasoned Senior Android Developer to enhance our mobile platform. You will focus on building and evolving our Android SDKs, working extensively with Java and Kotlin. This position requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure consistent architecture and code quality while influencing broader engineering practices for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build features and improve our existing Android SDK

• Migrate code from Java to Kotlin for better performance

• Collaborate on developing new SDK versions

• Create binding layers for various platforms

• Optimize map rendering performance

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in Android development

• Strong skills in Kotlin and Java SDK development

• Knowledge of UI and app experience helpful

• Ability to mentor fellow developers

• Familiarity with Dart or Type Script is a bonus
