Salesforce Omnistudio Lead

As a  Salesforce Omni Studio Tech Lead , you will make an impact by leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce Industries solutions using Omni Studio and Salesforce platform technologies. You will be a valued member of the Salesforce delivery team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Architect and implement OmniScripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptors, and Integration Procedures to deliver scalable and modular Omni Studio solutions.
Lead Salesforce Industries development across CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, and Revenue Cloud initiatives.
Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, adherence to best practices, and architectural guidance.
Design, build, and optimize integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and external enterprise systems.
Drive Dev Ops excellence through Git-based workflows, CI/CD automation, Vlocity Data Packs management, and environment governance.

What you need to have to be considered   8+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience. 3+ years of hands‑on Omni Studio experience including OmniScripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptors, and Integration Procedures.
Strong development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and Lightning Architecture.

Experience with Salesforce Industries solutions such as CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, or Revenue Cloud.
Hands‑on experience designing and implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and third‑party systems.

Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI, CI/CD pipelines, and Vlocity Data Packs.
Ability to design scalable data models, integration patterns, and modular Omni Studio frameworks.
Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
These will help you stand out   Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Omni Studio Developer
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance across Salesforce and Omni Studio components.
Domain expertise within telecommunications, financial services, or communications cloud implementations.

Salary and Other Compensation  We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $70,000 – $120,000 CAD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business‑related and job‑necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance‑based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
