Elevate your career as an AI Engineer at First National! This full-time role focuses on designing AI workflows to enhance mortgage processes while ensuring high productivity and user experiences.
You will report to the AI Engineering Lead within the Residential Underwriting Product Squad.
Your role centers on building AI-enabled workflows which cover document extraction, policy interpretation, and retrieval-augmented generation. Collaboration with subject matter experts is key to translate business rules into effective AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design AI workflows for mortgage use cases
• Translate business rules into modular prompts
• Build on shared AI Factory services across Azure
• Develop production-quality code using Python and SQL
• Create evaluation datasets and analysis feedback
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years of software or machine learning engineering
• Hands-on experience with AI solutions
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and CI/CD practices
• Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams
