Our ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and is a problem solver y enjoy working independently but can also collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Custom development:
  Build bespoke Word Press themes and plugins from scratch, or modify existing ones to meet requirements.
• Front-end and back-end integration:
  Develop responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces based on Figma designs.
• Performance and security:
  Optimize website speed, scalability, and security, implementing best practices for database management and code structure.
• API and third-party integration:
  Integrate third-party tools, services, and APIs into the Word Press environment.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with designers, project managers, and SEO specialists to deliver cohesive, optimized solutions.

You come with a strong portfolio showcasing custom themes and plugins, as well as excellent communication and team collaboration skills. You also come with:

• Proven experience as a Word Press Developer (3-5+ years of experience).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of the Word Press CMS and core architecture and Elementor.
• Proficiency in popular Word Press pagebuilders. React (for Gutenberg development), jQuery, and modern CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Tailwind are preferred but not required.
• Experience with Git version control, command line, and Docker for development environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and web performance optimization.
• Agency experience is preferred, though not required

Expected Compensation: CAD $50.00 - $64.00 per hour
