Job Title: Software Developer - Intermediate

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months with Possible Extension of 6 Months

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: CAD $60 - $70 per hour

• Mandatory Certifications (both):
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Candidate must provide the email address associated with the certification for verification
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Data Science, or related field
• Preferred optional Certification:
  Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
• 5+ years experience with Service Now ITSM, request management
• Skilled in designing and developing Service Now workflows and forms of varying complexity to support request fulfillment processes.
• Strong understanding of Request Management lifecycle and integration with ITSM modules.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Glide Record, and Script Includes.
• Experience with Service Now Flow Designer, Scheduled Jobs, and Notifications for automation and integration; ability to manage certificate inventory and related Service Now flows.
• Proficient in creating dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
• Adherence to Service Now development best practices for scalable and maintainable solutions; strong in Service Now workflows, reporting, dashboards, analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
