In this role, you will work within the Persistent Connection Service team to design and implement services that ensure persistent connections between devices and the Ring Cloud. Your contributions will be vital in processing billions of messages daily and resolving complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect scalable backend systems for device communication
• Collaborate with product and firmware teams across projects
• Establish best practices for engineering and reliability
• Lead automated testing and operational initiatives for critical services
• Influence platform decisions that enhance product capabilities
Requirements:
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++
• Experience in system design and architecture of services
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methods
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred
