Samsara is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Governance Platform team. Here, you will take charge of developing critical components that enforce security, compliance, and software supply-chain integrity across AWS and GCP. Your engineering judgment will guide system design, ensuring we maintain robust and compliant environments that allow us to transform physical operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop cloud governance tools

• Implement automated compliance solutions

• Collaborate to address cross-functional governance issues

• Share insights and technical knowledge with peers

• Document design approaches and ensure team alignment

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of software development experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or related technologies

• In-depth knowledge of AWS, GCP, or similar

• Strong understanding of security and IAM systems
