Position: Hybrid Senior Engineer for AI Platforms
Join BMO as a Senior Engineer in a hybrid role to enhance enterprise AI governance. You'll build and manage critical platform components to ensure AI processes are safe and compliant.

This position focuses on developing the core infrastructure that supports AI operations within BMO. Emphasizing hands-on engineering, you'll collaborate with teams to build components like the Policy Engine and AI Registry. You will also mentor less experienced engineers and take part in crucial design discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement platform features and components

• Build APIs and support integrations across the enterprise

• Write high-quality, tested code focused on operability

• Engage in on-call duties for your team's services

• Foster junior talent through mentorship and collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a tech-related field

• Over 5 years in software/platform engineering

• Strong coding skills in Python or Go preferred

• Experience with cloud services in AWS or Azure

• Knowledge of governance and observability frameworks
