Position: BMO Senior Engineer for AI Platforms

Your role involves creating scalable solutions that govern AI across multiple cloud environments.

In this engineering role, you will operate and enhance the AI Gateway, Identity Fabric, and Policy Engine while ensuring compliance with regulations. Your strong background in software development and experience in production services will enable you to deliver impactful components while mentoring team members and collaborating with other experts in AI security and Dev Ops. You will contribute to the development of essential governance tools to facilitate responsible AI usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and operate AI platform components and services

• Ensure production code is well-tested and maintainable

• Develop APIs and integrations for seamless functionality

• Engage in on-call support for operational services

• Lead design discussions with a focus on standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Minimum 5 years in engineering roles

• Strong foundation in cloud technology, ideally AWS/Azure

• Experience with audit and observability solutions

• Understanding of policy-as-code frameworks in AI
