Expert Backend Developer

Position: Expert Backend Developer - RBC
RBC is seeking an Expert Backend Developer to advance our Commercial Banking Platforms in Toronto. Engage with advanced technologies and frameworks such as Java and Spring Boot in an Agile setup.

This role requires an experienced professional to design and implement scalable integration solutions. You will work closely with teams to enhance our applications through robust API development and microservices. With a focus on system security and troubleshooting, you will be instrumental in shaping our backend functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deploy Java-based integration solutions

• Create and support RESTful APIs and microservices

• Collaborate in Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle

• Develop containerized applications for Open Shift

• Address and resolve backend technical challenges

Requirements:

• 8+ years of backend development experience

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot

• Strong in REST API and microservices architecture

• Experience with messaging technologies and databases

• Exposure to Cloud Platforms such as Open Shift
