NuPort Robotics seeks an Autonomous Motion Planning Engineer to develop and implement motion planning algorithms for self-driving technology. This role is available on a full-time, part-time, or internship basis.
Ideal candidates will hold a Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field, or possess substantial experience in autonomous driving. You should be skilled in decision-making, vehicle dynamics, and tracking within autonomous systems. Expertise in advanced algorithm development is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test motion planning algorithms in actual autonomous vehicles
• Create algorithms for simulation environments
• Deploy motion planning and control systems effectively
• Maintain high standards in software development practices
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or applicable field
• Proven experience in autonomous systems and planning under uncertainty
• Proficient in ROS, C++, and/or Python
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Strong desire for continuous learning and development
