In this hands-on role at Canonical, you will be pivotal in optimizing operations within our Toronto lab. Focus on automating server and network deployments while working with cutting-edge hardware for Ubuntu certifications. Collaborate with diverse engineering teams and improve testing processes to ensure high-performance in server ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop MAAS software for various server hardware
• Integrate testing software like Testflinger with MAAS
• Maintain availability of automated server lab
• Enhance automation for hardware monitoring
• Collaborate across engineering teams for hardware certification
Requirements:
• STEM Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Proficiency in Python programming and Linux Administration
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to four times a year
