Senior Software Developer Front End Ontario

Advance your career with the Province of Ontario as a Senior Software Developer focusing on front-end technologies. This onsite role in Toronto will utilize your extensive experience with Java and modern web frameworks.

This position with the Government Services Integration Cluster spans 5 months and aims to foster responsive web application development. Candidates will need proficiency in Java, Angular JS, and various related technologies to ensure the delivery of high-standard applications while maintaining accessibility compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular JS

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG)

• Manage and utilize databases with SQL and Oracle

• Collaborate effectively in an Agile environment

• Integrate tools and best practices using Azure Dev Ops

Requirements:

• 10+ years in Java and JavaScript programming

• Strong knowledge of Angular JS v2+ and Typescript

• Experience with Oracle 12C or newer

• Familiar with Agile methodologies and practices

• Skilled in using Web Sphere v8.5 or higher
