Join Workday's AI Model Serving team as a Senior Principal Software Development Engineer. Lead the development of cutting-edge AI and machine learning infrastructure using your deep expertise in distributed systems.

This strategically important role requires you to influence the architectural vision and technical direction of the AI Model Serving platform. You will be responsible for driving both performance improvements and operational reliability while mentoring team members and shaping a collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make design decisions to enhance platform performance

• Implement and maintain distributed systems for ML models

• Draft consensus-building design documentation

• Assess new technologies for operational excellence

• Manage continuous integration software pipelines

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development experience

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar

• Proven skills in Python with production environments

• Experienced in LLM and traditional ML models

• Strong communication and mentoring capabilities
