Position: Associate Software Engineer at AltaML
Kickstart your software engineering journey with AltaML as an Associate Software Engineer. This 4 or 8-month role focuses on both frontend and backend development in a hybrid work environment.

AltaML is seeking enthusiastic current students for hands-on software engineering roles starting January 2027. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and scale an intelligent agentic platform, emphasizing clean code and automation. Engage directly with AI and agentic solutions while sharpening your technical skills in a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, well-documented code for frontend and backend

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and integration issues

• Implement new features to improve user experience

• Collaborate with teams for scalable technical solutions

• Use AI tools to enhance code efficiency and testing

Requirements:

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages

• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks or backend technologies

• Ability to solve problems and adapt in a fast-paced environment
