- Lead the design of Waabi's driverless commercial and operations ecosystem and the tools and interfaces supporting company growth
- Design fleet management and remote assistance workflows, including dashboards, pre-mission checks, remote assistance, and operational procedures
- Observe users, terminal staff, and fleet operators in their actual environments to understand workflows and streamline processes
- Define human interactions with AI systems for fleet tracking, vehicle dispatch, remote assistance, and operational exception handling
- Build and extend Waabi's shared design system
- Contribute to production React codebases using AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Cursor
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, researchers, and operations teams to define requirements and develop design solutions
- Establish design culture, systems, and processes as the second product designer
- Grow to own the full human-to-robot experience, including fleet management software and autonomous vehicle interfaces
- 5+ years experience designing for information dense, complex ecosystems (e.g., healthtech, dev tools, or logistics)
- Ability to break down messy problems and drive from discovery through delivery with clear user-centric thinking
- First-principles approach to solving design problems
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments
- Interest in logistics, hardware integrations, and autonomous technology
- Strong design craft and judgment, balancing visual polish with usability
- Experience designing in code and working with component libraries
- Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools
- Bonus: prior experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or logistics operations
- Bonus: experience designing real-time monitoring, dispatch, or command-and-control interfaces
- Bonus: background in industrial design, hardware interfaces, or physical operations environments
