In this role, you will develop high-performance backend systems essential to Priceline's business strategy. With more than five years in software engineering, you will utilize technologies like Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. Your contributions directly impact customer experiences, ensuring our systems handle over a billion searches per day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop cloud-native applications using Core Java and Spring Boot
• Implement REST APIs with high performance and low latency
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Collaborate in an Agile team atmosphere to improve product outcomes
• Monitor applications using observability tools like Splunk and New Relic
Requirements:
• 5+ years in software engineering expertise
• Expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot development
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis
• Familiarity with Kafka and microservices architecture
• Understanding of cloud platforms like GCP and AWS
