As an IBM API Connect Developer, you will design and maintain APIs while managing their complete lifecycle. Key responsibilities include configuring API Gateway policies, integrative backend systems, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Collaborating closely with Dev Ops teams, you will implement these APIs into CI/CD pipelines while monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs with IBM API Connect
• Manage the full API lifecycle from planning to retirement
• Configure security and throttling API Gateway policies
• Integrate APIs with databases and microservices
• Document APIs for developer-friendly access
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience with IBM API Connect
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
• Proficiency in API security protocols
• Experience with JavaScript or backend languages
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD tools
