As a Portfolio Engineer at Fidelity, you will play a vital role in building a technology-enabled discretionary investment management platform. This full-time position involves developing tools for systematic portfolio construction, enhancing risk reporting, and ensuring data quality. Collaboration with portfolio management and compliance teams will be essential for success in this transformative role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build scalable portfolio construction and rebalance tools
• Map data dependencies for systematic construction
• Develop investment monitoring and risk reporting tools
• Apply advanced statistical analysis for portfolio customization
• Partner across teams to align workflows with strategy
Requirements:
• University degree in finance, computer science, or similar
• 5+ years in portfolio analytics or investment technology
• Strong programming skills in Python/R and SQL
• Experience in portfolio analytics workflows
• CFA Level 1 or equivalent preferred
