WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Shape the future of security at RBC by designing, developing, and maintaining secure, innovative solutions that streamline processes, boost efficiency, and unlock new possibilities.

• Lead the development of cutting-edge tools that enhance decision-making, automate tasks, and drive positive change across the organization.

• Mentor and coach junior technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, secure development, and collaboration within a dynamic team environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including diagrams and walkthroughs, to support feedback, design, development, and debugging activities.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have

• Knowledge of OWASP, SANS or other security-related frameworks

• Exposure to application security best practices such as secure coding, security testing techniques and Secure Software Development Lifecycle

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python, REST APIs, and Containers

• Proficiency with AI frameworks (FastAPI, Lang Chain, Lang Graph) and Python libraries (Num Py, Pandas, scikit-learn)

• Experience with Source Code Management (Git) and Git Hub Actions

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (OCP, Azure, AWS) and web services (SOAP, REST)

• Knowledge of SQL and No
  
  SQL database design and optimization

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams

Nice-to-have

• Working experience on large enterprise architecture designs/architecture models/solutions

• Experience with Docker and containerization platforms

• Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks

• Knowledge of emerging AI technologies (transformer architectures, prompt engineering techniques)
