Our backend developers sit at the core of how Robinhood works — powering the financial products that millions of people rely on every day. We build and scale the services, infrastructure, and data systems behind brokerage, crypto, payments, and more. We move fast, hold high standards, and solve problems that actually matter — at a scale that very few developers ever get the chance to touch.
As a Software Developer Intern, Backend, you won't be on the sidelines — you'll own a meaningful project end-to-end, from initial scoping through to production. You'll be embedded on a real team, working directly with experienced developers, diving deep into how the US financial system actually operates, and shipping software that meets the correctness and scale requirements of a live financial platform.

This role is based in our Toronto, ON office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
