About the Role

As a Software Engineering Consultant at Netlight, you will join a collaborative, ambitious, and mutually supportive environment where you define your own journey. You’ll partner with industry-leading clients to solve real business challenges, tackle a variety of technical domains, and grow alongside a brand-new Toronto team.

• Design and build robust, scalable software systems in close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of software development, from system design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop high-quality, scalable solutions for complex challenges across distributed systems, APIs, data, and user-facing applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Based in Toronto; this is a 100% in-person role.
• Legally eligible to work in Ontario, Canada.
• Curiosity about multiple industries and technologies.
• Tech agnostic mindset with proficiency and experience in some of the following:
  Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI, Django), Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong communication skills.
