We're looking for an accomplished Senior Mainframe Developer in Toronto, Ontario, to enhance our enterprise-level mainframe systems. This role will emphasize designing, developing, and maintaining applications, with specific experience needed in COBOL, CICS, and DB2. You will also troubleshoot production issues and facilitate data integrations through XML and SAS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement enhancements for mainframe applications
• Develop programs using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical designs
• Conduct testing, debugging, and integration activities
• Support production systems and quickly resolve defects
Requirements:
• Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2
• Knowledge of IMS DB/DC and VSAM in mainframe settings
• Proficient in XML and enterprise data flow
• Familiarity with SAS applications and automation testing
• Experience with TIBCO and middleware solutions
