Senior Systems Developer; Dynamics 365

Our client is seeking a Senior Application & Systems Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support business-critical applications within a Microsoft technology environment.

This is a hands-on development role working across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, web applications, automation, and emerging AI capabilities
. The successful candidate will combine strong application development skills with the ability to understand business requirements and deliver practical, secure solutions.

Location:

Hybrid 2-3d/week Toronto

• Design and develop solutions using Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Power Apps, third-party applications, and Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio, Copilot Agents, Azure AI services, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Build and maintain applications, integrations, automation, and business processes.
• Design and support serverless integrations and automation using Azure Functions, REST APIs, Python, Power Shell, and Microsoft cloud services.
• Integrate enterprise applications and data sources to streamline business processes and improve employee productivity.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement.
• Apply appropriate security, risk-management, solution-management, and change-control practices.
• Investigate and resolve complex application issues and coordinate escalations with external providers when required.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• 5–8 years of experience in application and database development, maintenance, integration, and reporting.
• Significant hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Azure Functions, REST APIs, serverless architecture, and cloud integrations.
• Experience with Power Shell and automation.
• Experience with Copilot Studio, AI‑assisted development tools, coding agents, and/or Azure AI services.
• Experience developing or supporting modern web applications.
• Strong understanding of secure software‑development practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand business needs and recommend secure, practical technical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
