Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 days/week in office)

Salary: $110,000-$140,000 CAD + up to 10% STI

Our client is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team here in Canada. This is a full-stack role with a stronger focus on front-end development, working primarily with React while contributing to backend services using Java and Spring Boot. The team works on modern enterprise software and encourages the use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Core

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full-stack features using React and Java/Spring Boot
Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services
Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new features
Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development workflows

What They're Looking For

5+ years of software development experience
Strong Java/Spring Boot experience
Strong React experience
JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Type Script is a strong bonus
Experience with REST APIs and SQL/databases
Enterprise software development experience
Docker/Kubernetes and cloud experience is an asset
