As a Software Engineer I, you'll be involved in the design, development, and enhancement of mainframe applications that serve the banking industry. Your work will include coding, debugging, and performance testing, as well as participating in peer reviews. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure project milestones align with TD's commitment to quality and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in the development and design of mainframe systems.
• Perform code reviews to maintain quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot application issues as they arise.
• Participate in comprehensive testing processes.
• Assist during incident response and issue resolution.
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or related technical certification.
• At least 3 years of mainframe development experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 necessary.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies preferred.
• Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
