We’re seeking a
** Senior Software Engineer (.NET / C#)
** to join our Asset Management Solutions team on a
** contract basis through June 30, 2027** . In this role, you will help build and enhance Broadridge’s portfolio management and investment technology solutions for our hedge fund and asset management clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software design and development using
** C# and .NET**, a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, and the ability to work with complex data-driven applications. You should be comfortable writing production-quality code, troubleshooting issues across environments, and collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
** Responsibilities
* ** Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications in accordance with customer and internal requirements
* Build and enhance application components, services, and APIs using **.NET / C#
*** Integrate third-party tools and services within existing application architecture
* Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality solutions
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, QA, and production environments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and support to deliver reliable software solutions
* Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering best practices
* Support application performance, stability, and maintainability through proactive monitoring and optimization  
** Qualifications**
* ** 5+ years of software development experience
** with
** C#, .NET**, or similar object-oriented technologies
* Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise applications, services, or APIs
* Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and object-oriented programming
* Experience with database development and working with large or complex data sets
* Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews
* Experience troubleshooting and supporting applications in QA and production environments
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and management
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience in the financial services industry or with asset management technology solutions
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, or modern application architecture
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops practices#LI-MR1#LI-REMOTE
