At Maps People, we're driving innovation in spatial intelligence as we seek an experienced developer to shape our Android SDKs. With 8-10 years in Android development, you will focus on coding, architecture, and mentoring. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our mobile solutions are cohesive and high-quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement features in existing Android SDK using Kotlin and Java
• Maintain and enhance SDK stability by fixing bugs
• Migrate legacy code from Java to Kotlin for better performance
• Build binding layers for React Native and Flutter
• Optimize map performance using Mapbox or Google Maps
Requirements:
• 8-10 years of Android development experience
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with SDK development and modular architecture
• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines and structured concurrency
• Knowledge of AI tools for development workflows
