Curvenote is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to enhance interfaces for researchers in a remote environment, ideally located in Canada. Leverage your expertise in React and Type Script while shaping collaborative publishing experiences.
As a senior member of our engineering team, you'll own the front-end architecture of our platform, significantly impacting how computational documents are created and shared. You’ll lead projects involving our JSON-to-React pipeline, translating designs into accessible components. Collaborating closely with design and product teams, you will ensure workflows are smooth and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own Curvenote's front-end architecture across products
• Lead the JSON-to-React rendering for new content types
• Create maintainable, performance-focused components
• Collaborate on editorial and collaborative workflow designs
• Document architectural decisions to guide the team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 8+ years in front-end development with React and Type Script
• Experience with Remix or Next.js frameworks
• Strong written communication skills
• Familiarity with AI development tools and processes
