Senior .NET Azure Developer

As a Senior .NET Azure Developer, you will make an impact by designing and developing end-to-end business applications that integrate AI-driven capabilities with core enterprise workflows. You will be a valued member of a collaborative technology team and work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

• Design, develop, and enhance end-to-end business applications using .NET technologies.
• Integrate AI-driven features and automation capabilities into Biz Apps workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop robust data access layers using SQL to support complex data models and application requirements.
• Configure and manage application hosting on Microsoft Azure, with a focus on availability, resilience, observability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Apply Git-based version control practices and collaborate with cross-functional partners throughout the software development lifecycle.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing business applications using .NET technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience working with complex data models and developing reliable data access layers.
• Experience using Git for version control and following collaborative software development practices.

• Experience integrating AI-driven features into enterprise applications or business workflows.
• Experience implementing automation capabilities that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of Azure application resilience, monitoring, observability, and cost-optimization practices.
• Experience collaborating with business, product, architecture, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of end-to-end application design and enterprise integration patterns.

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD $60,0000 and CAD $95,000 per year
. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
