As a part of BIMM's technology team, you will participate in a multi-year program aimed at modernizing a significant media and entertainment platform. Your expertise will support enhancements to a Rails 8 application, contribute to integrating various systems, and help design new functionalities, all while ensuring security and performance. Your proactive communication and deep understanding of Rails conventions will drive impactful changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build features across Rails 8 models and views
• Implement Hotwire for interactive frontend behavior
• Extend an in-house Rails CMS with rich editing
• Develop robust integrations with third-party APIs
• Design and optimize API layer and workflows
Requirements:
• 5+ years in production Rails applications
• Experience with Hotwire Turbo and Stimulus
• Strong PostgreSQL skills for optimization
• Proven background in third-party API integrations
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks
